As a part of our Humane Science Education Exploration series, we’ve released a new video introducing Scienstructable paper dissection models from Getting Nerdy with Mel and Gerdy.

In this video, you’ll discover all the benefits of using a paper dissection model. Each piece of the model’s anatomy comes labeled with detailed instructions about how and where to assemble it, which is as easy as cutting out the organs and taping pieces together! Using a paper model for dissection gives students a project that they can take home and reference as they continue their anatomy lessons. Paper models are also safer, budget-friendly, and reusable. By starting with a blank canvas and putting the paper specimen together, students learn and retain anatomy in a new and improved way.

Watch this short video to see exactly how a paper specimen can improve your classroom and enhance student learning.
