This workbook seeks to connect students to the subject of frogs, not through physical dissection but through the arts, in particular drawing. Based on the studies of Leonardo Da Vinci who used drawing as a method of gaining a deeper understanding about how anatomy works, this workbook was designed by Dr. Caryn Babaian using funding from the BioLEAP Classroom Grant.
There are three basic parts to this workbook:
1. Embryology
2. Anatomy (drawing and paper practice dissections)
3. Evolution, diversity, and computational software for building evolutionary trees and exploring diversity
